The world has flipped: how the top countries for quality of life changed in 10 years

Numbeo has published its Quality of Life Index, evaluating countries by cost of living, safety levels, healthcare quality, pollution, and user feedback.

Comparing the 2015 and 2025 rankings paints an interesting picture. Switzerland, long seen as the gold standard for quality of life, has dropped to fifth place. The United States also slid down — from 4th to 14th.
