The world is relearning the value of reliable energy

We have yet to fully grasp what kind of world is emerging after the Iran conflict.

And by “we,” I do mean the broadest “we” possible—as in citizens of Earth.

For months, much of the public conversation around the closure of the Strait of Hormuz and the ensuing energy crisis has focused narrowly on oil prices—whether gasoline will spike, whether inflation will return, and whether markets are overreacting or underreacting.
