So many of the funniest The Far Side comics are about animals. Cartoonist Gary Larson definitely possessed a unique gift that permitted him to see unusually funny realities in common situations. In fact, some might go so far as to refer to Larson as the master of surreal humor, and the way that he specifically used animals instead of humans often added to the hilarity of his single-panel comics.
