El Nino set to heat up 2026 to the earth’s hottest year on record in the coming months, with 2027 on track to be even warmer

Climate scientists are now largely convinced the world is warming faster than at any time in human history. 

This doesn’t mean every year is hotter than the one before, but this year is now on target to eclipse earth’s record set in 2025.  

They looked at the global temperature data and stripped away the natural variability in year-to-year temperatures that come from El Niño, volcanism and solar variation. 

Their results claim 98 per cent confidence that warming has accelerated.
