A doctor has shared the three foods he recommends everyone incorporates into their diet to reduce the risk of cancer.
In the UK, more than 385,000 new cases of cancer are diagnosed every year. The disease will affect around one in two people at some point in their lifetime.
While the majority (62%) of cancer cases are not preventable, according to Cancer Research UK, there are steps we can take to reduce our risk of developing cancer. This includes eating a healthy diet, avoiding smoking and reducing alcohol consumption.
