The federal Liberals are making significant traction at the expense of Pierre Poilievre’s Conservatives following Justin Trudeau’s resignation, according to the latest Nanos Research ballot tracking released Tuesday.
“We do this every week, (and) what’s clear is that Conservative support is now hemorrhaging to the Liberals,” said Nik Nanos, chief data scientist for Nanos Research, on the latest episode of CTV News Trend Line.
“If you remember back just before Justin Trudeau stepped down, the Conservatives had a whopping 27-point advantage,” he said. “(It) was like 47-20 for the federal Conservatives.”

I do not see any leader, of any party, capable of leading Canada other than Carney.
For sure the last thing we need is a minority gov’t, rather we need a solid unified gov’t consisting of a single party with a solid focus united majority.

Why is everybody saying the people that walked off the upside down plane yesterday at Toronto’s Pearson Airport were lucky?
Why is it a miracle?
25 years ago, i believe in Colorado, a similar accident involving a similar plane carrying the same number of passengers turned upside down. This is a very comparable accident, and it ignited a very interesting tech story.
All the US aviation regulation departments worked to gather info on this accident, 25 people died and they were mostly tossed around the plane while in their seats and than the wings started to settle and crushed a lot of them.
From this accident came the seats the passengers were all buckled into yesterday. They are now pretty much part of the airplane, being bolted down to the frame. No more passengers sitting in their chairs being tossed all over the interior of the plane.
The wings were designed to be ripped off in that situation. The missing wings on yesterday’s accident were designed to come off. They were not on the upside down plane to crush passengers below them. And of course the gas tanks were gone
Luck did not save those people, it wasn’t a miracle. It was the FAA and the NTSB etc working together to figure out how to save lives and putting the technology, actually mandating it to be on all commercial planes.
