"Having been a member of nopoo’s private forum for almost a year, I would like to offer my opinion of how this private forum provides investor’s with an opportunity to examine, critique, and post valuable data enabling others to get up to speed on new opportunities and re-examine your own investments.
Over the past year I have read many posts from a multitude of very advanced investors, this being based on their ability to write clear and concise responses to other having concerns or offering opportunities for others to research companies that could be diamonds in the rough.
Being a petroleum geologist, now instructor at a technical institute, most of my expertise lies in energy. My approach to investing has shifted over the past year from energy to precious metals. Subscriptions to many of this sectors so called experts was something contemplated, but my beliefs are that any stocks promoted by these analysts have usually been accumulated by their inside group, leaving others coming in late at a much higher entry point. This is not my idea of smart investing.
